There are 989 vacancies in South Zone which includes Kerala. Age Limit: Junior Engineer-28 years, Steno-25 years, Assistant Grade-III (General, Accounts, Technical, Depot)-27 years, Assistant Grade-III (Hindi)-28 years is the upper age limit. Five years for SC, ST and OBC categories. Category candidates will get relaxation for all the three years. The differently abled and ex-servicemen will get statutory age relaxation. Widows, divorced women and women who have not remarried after legal divorce will get relaxation up to 35 years (SC, ST-40 years, OBC-38 years). Age, qualification and work experience will be calculated as on 1st August 2022.

Salary: The pay scale is Rs.34,000-1,03,400 for Junior Engineer posts, Rs.30,500-88,100 for Steno Grade-II posts and Rs.28,200-79,200 for Assistant Grade-III posts.
പരീക്ഷ: തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി രണ്ടുഘട്ട ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ പരീക്ഷയുണ്ടാവും. ഒന്നാംഘട്ടത്തിലെ പരീക്ഷ പൊതുവായിട്ടാണ് നടത്തുക. രണ്ടാംഘട്ടത്തിലേത് തസ്തികകള്‍ക്കനുസരിച്ച് വ്യത്യസ്തമായിരിക്കും. ഒന്നാംഘട്ട പരീക്ഷയില്‍ ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ഭാഷ, റീസണിങ് എബിലിറ്റി, ന്യൂമെറിക്കല്‍ ആപ്റ്റിറ്റിയൂഡ്, ജനറല്‍ സ്റ്റഡീസ് എന്നിവയായിരിക്കും വിഷയങ്ങള്‍. Examination: There will be a two stage online examination as part of the selection. The first phase examination will be conducted in general. The second phase will be different depending on the posts. The subjects in the first phase exam will be English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude and General Studies.

The duration of the exam for 100 marks will be one hour. The first phase exam will be objective type (multiple choice). One mark for each. A wrong answer will carry one fourth negative marks. However, if the answer is left unwritten, there will be no negative marks. Marks of first phase examination will not be considered for preparation of rank list.

The details regarding the second phase examination are available in the notification on the website. In Kerala, there will be centers in Kochi, Kannur, Thrissur, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode for the first phase examination. Kochi will be the only center for the second phase examination.
